Jeff Carey

Jeff Carey makes synthetic noise music with an physically controlled software based instrument of his own development called ctrlKey. His music is abstract and sculptural, full of shapes and gesture, colored by noise bursts, percussive glitches and shifting resonance. In recent work, he has incorporated lighting projection to explore the space between visceral and the external embodiment of sound. He builds physically controllable custom software synthesis instruments and is interested in exploring immediate and flexible sound production with virtuosity in electronic music.

He is an active member of Baltimore's music scene. He organizes local concerts for touring electronic musicians and is a co-curator of the High Zero Festival for improvised and experimental music and for the Diffusion Festival for electronic multichannel music.

XOME

Xome is a harsh noise music project conceived and operated by Bob Scott. Xome first started experimenting with dissonant forms of music in 1989 but the first organized live performance in Tokyo in 1994 marks the true activation of the project. Now based in Woodland, CA, Xome has evolved into a highly refined and extremely harsh noise music unit by means of improvised manipulation of sound generating and processing equipment.

Dromez

Noise project begun in 2005 by Liz Gomez who was born, raised, and is currently residing in Texas. Briefly lived in Dayton, OH from 2014-2016 and participated in booking at defunct home basement venue Smiles4Miles (originally started by Nate Tandy and John Moloney).

Straight Panic

Straight Panic was born out a double-pronged state of frustration—at a lack of visible representation within the contemporary Noise/Power Electronics scenes, and a need to air out/work through my own political grievances. Even before its official inception, the project was always intended to focus on three criteria: 1. Aggressively Queer

2. Confrontational
3. Politically Radical/Revolutionary

Straight Panic must exist, as long as queer bodies are broken and murdered. Straight Panic will not be silent as long as there is inequality/injustice. Straight Panic stands opposed to all placating, heteronormative centrists like Pete Buttigieg.

Since the start of operations in May 2015 (Minneapolis, MN), I have recorded and released 50+ videos, albums, EPs, etc. under the Straight Panic banner. I have had the wonderful opportunities to perform at numerous festivals (Kansas City Noise Fest 3, Midwest Harshfest 4, NOVO Industrial Festival, Fargo Noise Fest, Tulsa Noise Fest, Dayton Noise Symposium 2), as well as perform in Brooklyn at ISSUE Project Room as part of the QUEER TRASH curatorial series alongside Kejuan Thomas, Lydia Lunch, and Weasel Walter.

The Vomit Arsonist

Manifesting in the early 2000's, and currently existing in a drastically different form compared to it's beginnings, The Vomit Arsonist is the death industrial/power electronics project of Andrew Grant. The only agenda of the project is to explore, expose and revel in the negativity that human beings are so capable of putting into the world. An exercise in futility set to a vicious backdrop of rhythmic electronic noise, screeching metal and heavily processed vocals.

He has released several full length albums via stalwart industrial label Malignant Records, as well as numerous EP's, splits and collaborations on labels such as Cloister Recordings, Annihilvs, Gutter Bloat, L. White, Cipher Productions and more.
